Craftsmanship

From wax to Scent

Melting

Our wax composition is slowly and carefully heated — the right temperature is crucial for a clear, even burn.

Composing

We compose our own fragrance formula — developed exclusively for AKSEL, in collaboration with internationally recognised fragrance creators.

Pouring

Each candle is individually poured into the square vessel — with care, patience, and precision.

Curing

48 hours of curing. Then inspection, bamboo lid, packaging. Only then does it leave our atelier.

All instructions

First burn: 2–3 hours

Allow the wax surface to melt completely to the edge the first time. This prevents tunnelling — the candle will then burn evenly throughout.

Extinguish with a snuffer

Do not blow out: A snuffer or lid extinguishes the flame without smoke and preserves the fragrance. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn.

Arrange rattan sticks freely

The fragrance-soaked sticks must not touch walls, wood, or painted surfaces — the fragrance liquid can leave marks. Place the bottle freely on a non-sensitive surface.

Never leave unattended

Always keep burning candles in sight, place them out of reach of children and pets, and keep away from flammable materials.
